2. What are courses available?
Vocational and academic courses are generally available to international students. Vocational courses may include courses in various subject areas at certificate, diploma and advanced diploma and Post Graduate level for which the duration may range from 1 to 3 years depending upon level. Courses of academic type include University Transfer – 2 years, Bachelors – 4 years, Masters - 2 years, PhD – 3+ years
3. How long would the admission procedure take?
The approximate time would be 2 to 8 weeks. Hence it is advisable to start early.
4. What should I do for accommodation?
Well, there are international admission officers at institutes who can guide you through various types of accommodations available like: Hostels, Home – stay, Private accommodations etc. We at BitTRACK can assist you in finding and booking accommodation for our students.
5. Is TOEFL accepted by Canadian Institution?
TOEFL is accepted by Canadian Institutions but if an applicant wishes to submit visa application under SPP category then IELTS is mandatory.
6. What are the average tuition fees & living cost?
The average tuition fees are CAD 10,000 to 15,000 p.a and living costs are CAD 8,000 to CAD 10,000 p.a
7. Can I work while studying?
The student can work 20hrs a week after completion of first 6 months of study and obtaining permit to work.
8. What are the prospects after completing the studies?
On completion of studies students are eligible to get work permit up to 3 years, depending on their course and level.

10. How much funds does one need to show while applying for visa? What are the acceptable funds?
The student generally needs to show minimum 1st year of tuition fees + Living expenses @ CAD 8000. Education loan is the only acceptable fund under SPP category, while in Non SPP programme one may show funds in Education Loan, Saving A/c & Fix deposits.
11. Before how many days can I apply for visa?
One can apply for visa before 120 days of start date.
12. What is a co-op program?
Co-op program is a type of program wherein students is offered work placement as a part of his/‘her course curriculum which may be paid or unpaid.
13. Which intakes are open for international students?
Generally September and January intakes are available for international students. Few institutions also have a May intake.

2. Who can be sponsors?
If you are applying for a course which falls under subclass 573 (Higher Diploma, Bachelors, PGD, Masters, PhD) you will be assessed under AS Level 3. Under this level anyone including self, parents, grandparents (Paternal or Maternal), spouse, siblings, in-laws, relatives and friends can sponsor a student.
Third party sponsorship is also acceptable. However, if you are applying for a course which falls in subclass 572 (Diploma, Certificate, Advance Diploma) you will be assessed under AS Level 4. Under this level only parent, self, grand parents can sponsor the student.
3. Can one apply for the admission even if IELTS score is less than required?
Yes you can, with an option of pursuing ELICOS (English Language) course in Australia.
4. Is sponsorship from USA or UK acceptable?
Yes It is acceptable
5. What are the intakes for education in Australia?
The main intakes are February, July & November.
6. Is IELTS mandatory for the visa?
Yes, IELTS is mandatory for applying Australia visa and the test should be taken within 2 years from the date of application for admission.
7. What is the minimum eligibility of IELTS for Australia Education?
It varies by the university, course and level. But most universities prefer the score bands of 5.5 / 6.0 as the minimum eligibility
8. When should I start my admission process for Australia?
One should start it minimum 4-6 months before the intake.
9. What is the course duration for Australian education?
Usually the course duration for Bachelor’s degree would be for 3 years and approximately 1.5 or 2 years for Master’s degree.
10. What are the documents required to submit for Australian education?
You have to submit your certificates of 10th, 12th, graduation (all years) and your IELTS score report. You should also submit your Biodata, SOP and two recommendation letters.
11. If a student has TOEFL score and got admitted in an Australian university, can he go for visa?
No, he/she cannot, since a score in IELTS is mandatory for visa.

Depending upon institution it may take anywhere from 1-4 weeks.
15. What is the cost of living in Australia?
According to the Australian High Commission, the living cost to be calculated per year would be AUS $ 18000. However, according to the feedback given by students living in Australia the approx living expenses are: Aus. $ 10,000 to 16,000 per year.

17. What are the entry requirements of the Australian institutions?
Students have to meet the academic as well as the English language requirements of the specific institutions that they choose. The institutions have a selection criteria set for different kinds of courses at different levels.
18. What if a student does not meet the entry requirements?
There are bridging programs offered at the undergraduate and the postgraduate level a student can take up if a student does not qualify for a direct entry into the courses? Even English languages courses are offered incase the student do not meet the minimum requirements of the institutions.
19. Is a student allowed to work while studying?
According to the rules international students can work 20 hrs per week during the semesters while they are studying and full time during the vacations.
20. What is vocational and technical education?
Australia 's Vocational and Technical Education delivers training that is both practical and career-oriented and includes courses in computing, business studies, marketing, tourism and hospitality.
21. Is accommodation available to students?
Students have of option of living on campus or off campus. Most of the international students in Australia live in rented accommodation.
22. What kind of medical care do I get in Australia?
Most of the universities provide medical facilities on campus.. The students Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) will help students pay for the medical care. OSHC is compulsory for all international students coming to Australia.

2. Is New Zealand education recognized?
Yes, Newzealand has British based education system and it is recognized world wide. NZQA is the authority that ensures the quality of education provided by these institutions.
3. What is the duration for a typical Bachelor course & Master course?
In Newzealand Bachelor’s degree is typically for 3 years while Masters is for 2 years. Certain courses offered at Diploma level may range from 1 to 2 years.
4. What are the average tuition fees?
The average tuition fees are Bachelor & Masters courses NZ$ 16,000 to NZ$ 25,000 per year and for Diploma/ Graduate Diploma Courses NZ$ 13,000 to NZ$ 18,000 per year.
5. Is medical certificate and police clearance certificate mandatory requirement?
Yes, Medical Certificate from an approved doctor by NZIS is mandatory lodgment requirement. This certificate should not be more than three months old. Similarly a Police Clearance Certificate not more than 6 months old is a must when the application is lodged.
6. Are dependents allowed to accompany the student?
Dependents are allowed to accompany the students. The dependent gets a work permit, if the main applicant’s course is in long term skilled list.
7. Will the student be allowed to work part – time?
Yes students will be able to work 20hrs a work during term – time and 40 hrs a week during vacation.
8. What are the insurance requirements?
All international students should have travel and medical insurance when enrolling for a Newzealand education. This can be done prior to your arrival in Newzealand, or else your institution will ensure that you obtain insurance as part of your enrolment (application forms will include a question on insurance). There are many well-known insurance companies in Newzealand which can offer you competitive insurance premiums to cover all your basic needs.

10. What are the options available on completion of studies?
The student gets minimum one year open work permit after study in Newzealand.
11. Is IELTS a compulsory requirement?
IELTS is not a mandatory requirement specified by NZIS but Universities/Polytechnics/Institute of Technologies does require IELTS score to offer admission to an international student. Also IELTS score gives NZIS a very good independent assessment of student’s ability to manage a course of study taught in English in Newzealand.
12. Which type of institutions offer courses to International Students?
Colleges, Polytechnics and Universities offer courses to International Student.
13. What is Fund transfer Scheme?
Under fund transfer scheme the student can open a bank A/c in Newzealand. On getting approval in Principle-AIP - the student can deposit money for his/her living expenses in that A/c. On reaching there every month a student is entitled to withdraw $833 a month. If a student opt’s for this scheme it will ease the visa procedure.
1. Will student get financial aid at the PhD level certainly?
Not necessarily, since universities may offer admission even without aid too, based on the interest and financial situation of the department concerned.
2. Do all universities offer scholarships?
Some of the universities offer scholarships to international students.
3. What are the pre-requisite tests for admission into various programs of US universities?
TOEFL or IELTS for English proficiency, SAT for undergraduate level programs GRE for MS programs and GMAT for Management-related programs.
4. When does one start the application process?
One should start at least 6 to 9 months before the start of semester.

9. How to pay the application fee?
The best way is to pay online, through credit card.
10. How should we write a SOP?
The general issues which must be addressed in SOP are academic background, achievements, interest in the field of study chosen, future plans and why a student is keen to study in a specific university.
11. What are the minimum requirements for granting aid?
Excellent academic performance, test scores and SOP highlighting the eligibility of candidate for aid are the minimum requirements for grant of an aid before enrolling.
12. How is a scholarship different from assistantship?
Scholarship does not require any compensatory work, whereas Assistantship (Research, Teaching or Administrative) require work contribution.
13. When should I apply for student visa?
It is advisable to apply 90 days prior to the date of enrolment stated in the I-120 form.
14. What is SEVIS Fee? How can one pay that fee?
SEVIS is Student Exchange Visitor Information System, of the US Government, to keep track of international students arriving in the USA. A fee of US $ 200 has to be paid by each student, before applying for a visa.It can be paid online through credit card.
15. What are the financial requirements to apply for visa?
One must show at least 1st year tuition fees and living expenses in liquid while there has to be a provision for consecutive years.

Also pathway courses at Diploma level leading to Bachelors level and post graduate diploma level leading to masters are available. An international student has to opt for a fulltime course only, for which the duration has to be more than 6 months.
2. What is the duration for a typical Bachelor & Master courses?
In UK Bachelor’s degree is typically for 3 years while Masters is for 1 year. Certain courses offered at Bachelors level, may extend up to for 4 years -sandwich program, while a few courses at Masters level may extend up to for 1.5 to 2 years which may include internship courses.
3. What is a sandwich program?
Certain universities offer programs at Bachelor level for 4 years – wherein the student is able to work as a part of study in 3rd year. This will enable the student to gain real – time work experience.
4. Are Internship courses available in UK?
There are many internship courses available at Masters Level as a part of study. In such programmes, students are offered work placements - the duration of which may range from 1 month to 12 months.
5. Can the students bring dependents? Are they able to work?
A student studying at level 7 in a University will be able to bring dependents. Dependents can work full time.
6. Will the student be allowed to work part – time?
Yes students studying at University will be able to work 20 hrs a week during term – time and 40 hrs a week during vacation, while students studying at FE&HE colleges will be able to work 10hrs a week.
7. Is GRE required for admission into Masters ?
No, GRE is not required for admission into Masters. Few universities might need a GMAT score for admission into their MBA program.
8. Is IELTS mandatory?
Colleges will need to ensure that students for below level 6 programs have English proficiency of CEFR level B1 and at or above level 6 must have a level of CEFR B2. Universities on their discretion will be able to recruit students without IELTS or TOEFL on the basis of the students marks in English Language in 10th & 12th Std. 9. What is the eligibility of MBA programme in UK?
Normally a student should have bachelors with first class, have 2-3 yrs work experience at supervisory level and an IELTS score of 6.5 for entry into executive MBA. Meanwhile entry into fresher’s MBA would be possible for student having bachelors with first class and an IELTS score of 6 and above.
10. What are the financial requirements for a UK student visa?
The student has to show unpaid tuition fees for the first year of course and living expenses @ 7200 – if in London Burroughs and Living expenses @ 5400 if outside London Burroughs for a period of 28 days in Bank saving A/c. Education Loan is also acceptable.
11. Can a student pay fees in installment?
If the institution allows, student can pay fees in installments.
12. What are the options available on completion of studies?
On completion of studies student may be able to switch to Tier – 2 work visas. Also a student may be able to extend his student visa if s/he wishes to study further.
