2. What are courses available?
Vocational and academic courses are generally available to international students. Vocational courses may include courses in various subject areas at certificate, diploma, advanced diploma and Post Graduate level for which the duration may range from 1 to 3 years depending upon level. Courses of academic type include University Transfer 2 years, Bachelors 4 years, Masters - 2 years, PhD 3+ years
3. How long would the admission procedure take?
The approximate time would be 2 to 8 weeks. Hence it is advisable to start early.
4. What should I do for accommodation?
Well, there are international admission officers at institutes who can guide you through various types of accommodations available like: Hostels, Home stay, Private accommodations etc. We at

5. Is TOEFL accepted by Canadian Institution?
TOEFL is accepted by Canadian Institutions but if an applicant wishes to submit visa application under SPP category then IELTS is mandatory.
6. What are the average tuition fees & living cost?
The average tuition fees are CAD 10,000 to CAD 15,000 p.a and living costs are CAD 8,000 to CAD 10,000 p.a
7. Can I work while studying?
The student can work 20hrs a week after completion of first 6 months of study and obtaining permit to work.
8. What are the prospects after completing the studies?
On completion of studies students are eligible to get work permit up to 3 years, depending on their course and level.
9. What are the documents required to be sent for application?

10. How much funds does one need to show while applying for visa? What are the acceptable funds?
The student generally needs to show minimum 1st year of tuition fees + Living expenses @ CAD 8000. Education loan is the only acceptable fund under SPP category, while in Non SPP programme one may show funds in Education Loan, Saving A/c & Fix deposits.
11. Before how many days can I apply for visa?
One can apply for visa before 120 days of start date.
12. What is a co-op program?
Co-op program is a type of program wherein students is offered work placement as a part of his/her course curriculum which may be paid or unpaid.
13. Which intakes are open for international students?
Generally September and January intakes are available for international students. Few institutions also have a May intake.
